17,544,195 restricted stock units (BRNAM) have expired because the conditions attached to them were not met or can no longer be met (e.g., achievement of performance targets or continued employment with the company).

No compensation or other consideration was paid for the cancellation. It is normal practice for conditional grants in an incentive program to expire.
The share capital is reduced by this number of securities, as they can no longer be converted into shares.

For existing shareholders, the expiry of these commitments potentially means less dilution in the future, as these RSUs can no longer be converted into regular shares.

Furthermore, a total of 5,737,074 new ordinary fully paid shares were issued as a result of the exercise or conversion of certain types of unlisted securities.

What was issued?

375,000 shares were created through the exercise of so-called “performance rights” (BRNAJ).

5,362,074 shares were converted into regular shares through the exercise and conversion of restricted stock units (BRNAM), i.e., conditionally granted share rights, e.g., from employee participation programs.

The new shares were issued in two tranches: on July 23, 2025, and August 1, 2025. These shares are now fully paid up and listed on the ASX.

Following the measure, a total of 2,035,741,735 common shares remain available, as well as various outstanding programs such as additional performance rights, options, and restricted stock units.

China, I mean the CCP, how predictable are they ? It's a joke!
Albo, couldn't get Papua New Guinea over the line on his recent visit with regards the security pact, of course the CCP tried to undermine things, now today the Papuans finally sign off on the dual agreement.. BUT the CCP had already punished the Australian government by saying "We aren't taking any iron ore from your biggest exporter, BHP ."

Now, that may punish shareholders in the big Australian, BUT the message was sent to Albo and his mates, don't try to disrupt our big silk road through the Pacific, I have first-hand knowledge of this evil, corrupt regime, the West must never surrender Gods gift to ALL humanity, and that's freedom, feel will and respect for your fellow man/woman...I never thought I or my family would ever have to experience a world war, but at 67 I'm not so sure, greed, evil and selfishness have always been present in society, but my gut tells me the tipping point is fast approaching...comon Brainchip give us a sign 🏒💪✍️

China Just Built AI That Runs 100x Faster on 2% of the Training Data...

New neuromorphic model called Spiking Brain mimics biological neurons instead of brute-force computation.

Result: 69% of calculations eliminated entirely. Linear scaling instead of exponential complexity.

Trained on Chinese MetaX hardware, not Nvidia GPUs.

•••

THE EFFICIENCY BREAKTHROUGH

Traditional AI calculates everything continuously, even zeros.

Spiking Brain only activates neurons when processing meaningful information...exactly like human brains.

Your brain runs on 20 watts. Current AI models consume enough electricity to power 7 million homes annually.

•••

THE TECHNICAL ADVANTAGE

450M parameter model processes 4 million tokens without memory collapse.

Mixture of experts architecture activates only relevant specialists per task. Deployed successfully on mobile CPUs with minimal battery drain.

•••

THE INFRASTRUCTURE IMPACT

Current trajectory: AI data centers will double electricity demand within years.

Companies resorting to methane generators and reactivating nuclear plants to power training.

Neuromorphic computing offers 89% energy reduction while maintaining 95% computational accuracy!

•••

THE STRATEGIC SHIFT

We've hit the wall on Moore's Law. Can't make chips smaller indefinitely...

Biology shows the path: massive parallelism, event-driven processing, sparse activation.

Open source code accelerates adoption. Hardware from Intel, IBM, and Brainchip already optimized for spiking neural networks.

This isn't incremental optimization. It's architectural transformation.

Hey, here are some of the note worthy news on Edge AI you won't want to miss:

  1. Dell Technologies has launched of the PowerEdge XR8720t. A new, ultra-high-performance server designed specifically to transform edge and telecom infrastructure, especially for demanding Open RAN and Cloud RAN deployments. This signifies major hardware commitment to the high-end Edge.
  2. OnLogic has released the ultra-rugged Karbon 520 Series. A line of industrial computers designed for Edge AI in harsh environments. This addresses the critical need for robust hardware that can operate reliably outside of climate-controlled data centers (e.g., factory floors, remote sites).
  3. Premio has introduced the JCO-1000-ORNA small form factor, fanless ruggedized AI edge computer built around the NVIDIA Jetson Orin platform for harsh AI deployments. This focuses on bringing powerful NVIDIA-ecosystem processing to small, ruggedized form factors.
  4. BrainChip has showcased developer access on Edge Impulse for its products. Demonstrating how to train and deploy AI/ML models on its ultra-low power, event-based neuromorphic AI (like the AKD1000 processor). This is a crucial step for democratizing access to ultra-low-power Edge AI.

For those working in the Edge AI domain, the following developments offer significant opportunities in the coming weeks and months:

  • Democratization of Neuromorphic/Low-Power AI: The increased integration of technologies like BrainChip's Akida with platforms like Edge Impulse means that deploying ultra-low-power, event-driven AI is becoming more accessible. Practitioners can now more easily experiment with and build highly energy-efficient ML for small IoT devices.
  • Focus on Robust Deployment and Orchestration: The emergence of dedicated Edge Platforms (as predicted in the trends) means that the tools for managing, updating, and securing fleets of Edge AI devices will mature rapidly. Look for new platform releases and best practices in the area of Edge MLOps (Machine Learning Operations).
  • New Hardware and Form Factors: The continuous release of ruggedized, high-performance hardware (like the new offerings from Dell, OnLogic, and Premio) expands the practical scope of Edge AI. Practitioners can now confidently deploy advanced AI models in non-traditional environments like industrial sites, vehicles, and public infrastructure.
  • Advancements in Agentic and Multimodal Edge Models: The drive to bring sophisticated AI capabilities like reasoning and multimodal perception to the edge, often through optimized SLMs, promises new, high-value applications—especially in automation (Agentic AI) and real-time vision/audio processing (Multimodal AI).

This newsletter focuses on the technological advancements and innovations that can affect Edge AI engineers, hands-on developers and decision makers. There are more exciting Edge AI news on the horizon, stay tuned for the weekly reports.

🚀 With all the news about Hashtag#drones disrupting air traffic and violating airspace across Europe, there's increased interest in 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 (𝐂-𝐔𝐀𝐒). At Bits & Pretzels Visionaries Stage, there was an interesting discussion about the challenges for Hashtag#DualUse technologies with:
💡 Will Blyth (Arondite)
💡 Jan-Hendrik Boelens (Alpine Eagle, image is theirs)
💡 Marc A. Wietfeld (ARX Robotics)
💡 Leonard Wessendorff (Project Q)

One of the biggest technological challenges when it comes to defending against drones in an increasingly crowded urban airspace, is how to rapidly identify an object that might have an disruptive impact. Traditional sensor technologies like 𝐑𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐫-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬, 𝐑𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨-𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥/𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 (𝐄𝐎/𝐈𝐑) 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 are often not ideally suited to distinguish between a drone delivering your food-order and a drone that aims to disrupt final approach to an international airport.

New Hashtag#Innovation, often AI-based, provides possibilities. Among many emerging technologies, developments like 𝐀𝐈-𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐑𝐂𝐒 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬, 𝐀𝐈-𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐬 and 𝐍𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚-𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 aim to drastically improve the field of both Portable and Urban C-UAS. Intel Corporation's Hashtag#Loihi and Hashtag#Loihi2 IBM's Hashtag#TrueNorth and BrainChip 's #Akida are common #neuromorphic chips, but also there some exciting #ResearchAndDevelopment is happening.

If you want to know which technologies are most promising in the fight against unwanted and disruptive unmanned aerial systems, let me know and let's have a chat at #BitsAndPrezels

One important factor with this is that the University of Texas created the National Security Collaboration Center (NSCC) which has built its own ecosystem which includes Military/Federal Agencies/cybersecurity and major industry.
It carries influence with DOD partnerships.

I'm surprised it went for so little, when people are paying over USD125k for Bitcoin, which you can't detect with any senses either..

"The artwork is immaterial, existing as "air and spirit" within a designated space, with the buyer receiving a certificate of authenticity and instructions for exhibition. Garau describes the piece as a conceptual reflection on presence and energy, aiming to spark the viewer's imagination rather than to be physically seen."

But that "was" 4 years ago, I'd say it would go for much more now, if it were auctioned off again by the owner.. (seriously).

Imagine if the Artist died..
