Behind a paywall, so better here:
"Battery anode and innovation materials company Talga has applied for over SEK 142 million for a programme to..."

"The stock market giants want the state's green billions
The government's billion-dollar pot for green industrial projects has attracted applications to develop indoor solar cells, soilless crop cultivation, virtual game fences and tire recycling, among other things.

A major green steel project tops the list while another has completely refrained from seeking funding.

Published: June 9, 2025"

That would be about €13M or AUD22,69

Maybe better?
"Solar cells for indoor use, soilless plant cultivation, virtual wildlife fences and tyre recycling"

But my eyes also squeaked when I saw indoor solar cells.

Wonderful news today!! Whoopee :). I can totally see the share price not moving though. In my opinion, it is held down by the belief of the market that talga will have to sell it self to finance the mine. I bet the some big fishes do not want to invest when faced with a dilution of above 50%. We here suspect or are very sure that this is not going to happen, but in my opinion, the market doesn't believe it. So until there is a good customer for offtakes and the financial plan is clarified, I don't see us moving much. Fingers crossed, this is not far now. Also hopefully, I am wrong on this :) would love to see the share price going for new heights!

I'd be surprised if it moved the needle much. Firstly, there are still inconsistencies as to what impact the pending finalization/approval of the Detailed Mining Plan will have on the next milestones. Secondly, prices for many commodities such as lithium and graphite are at multi-year lows. Thirdly, there is massive political uncertainty. Fourthly, it is completely unclear whether the DFS key figures targeted by Talga are still realistic. Fifthly, at first glance, a direct comparison with competitors does not necessarily suggest that our market capitalization is disproportionately low and would automatically increase by ticking off milestones by the book.

I am betting on a daily closing price of AUD 0.46.

Admittedly, I have no idea how to mathematically approximate the fair and projected market value of a company on the basis of capex, opex, production volume, sales, etc. There are now more and more tools that you can use, at least in a playful way. So I have tried to make a fair comparison between Talga and Nouveau Monde Graphite, a company that seems very similar to ours where I tried to recalculate some values based on NMGs recently updated revenue forecasts.

At first glance, I would say that although Nouveau Monde is valued AUD 230 million higher than Talga (around 2.2 times the size), it is also planning 2.3 times our production volume and has already achieved significantly more milestones than Talga (including offtake agreements and permits). If we assume that our DFS is somewhat outdated and use NMG's sales prices as a basis, then we arrive at similar orders of magnitude for key metrics. I am particularly surprised that our OPEX is not significantly better than that of NMG, as our graphite content is incredibly higher. Last but not least, I would assume that NMG can scale up much faster and bring the production volume to the next expansion stage than Talga itself. As I said, it's all playful and with a grain of salt, but it's cool how much these AI tools improve from year to year.

It's hard for me to get a clear sense of whether Talga or NMG is the better investment and to what extent reaching strategic milestones should increase our market value or increase the appetite of larger investors, but if anyone is massively bored, they can have a look at the appendix:

Here's a tidbit (we would say Schmankerl) from the last few hours:

Amnesty Sweden wants to see a rapid transition away from fossil fuels, with respect for human rights. The traditional knowledge and perspectives of the Sami people should be seen as a key rather than an obstacle in this endeavour. The Swedish government has a responsibility to ensure free and informed consent, not least for new projects that affect the Sami people's living conditions and culture.

I don't think I need to judge/comment that any further.

Soooooo with the rejecting the last appeals and the administrative board being instructed to adopt the detailed plan, does that mean we could be mere weeks (i.e. single digit number of weeks) away from FID and offtakes? Man.. wouldn't that be great!?

Agreed…and with the war in the Middle East it should be possible to add more holdings at low price as overall market sentiment is risk off…now’s the time to be bullish on any weakness…Not investment advice, just my personal opinion and plan for next week…My average is now at .49c (ex options) Enjoying the weekend everyone…and turn off the news!

On the anti's page

"The county administrative board will draw up a detailed plan for the construction of a graphite mine.
The government has decided that the County Administrative Board of Norrbotten County should draw up a proposal for a detailed plan that would allow graphite deposits to be mined.

For the annals:
However, Council Chairman Mats Taaveniku (S), who has sharply criticised the government's actions, told Dagens Samhälle that a plan could be presented to the Council in September/October at the earliest.

Prediction : no positive announcements prior 13 September except permit / government news. No FID, no partnerships, no strategic investment, no off takes, no recycling advances, no Tal-Si commercialization, no expansion studies. Nothing. 3 more months of inaction. Share price to drift back to $0.38-40 or lower.

You can figure out why that date and then determine where loyalties really sit.
As always, happy to be proven wrong but track record speaks for itself
