Ehh? With all the news lately you come with that specific prediction? While I agree with that we see no share price movement before FID is done, now that the ball is finally played by Talga, it should be mich faster than September. Prepare to exercise your options, and don't spin conspiracies on how they prevent progress.

Talga is not fraudulent. And if you believe it is, then what are you doing here? Go invest in MSTR or something.

Your implication was that exactly. You implied that Talga would delay the closing of contracts past September to make the options expire before they can be valuable. It might happen that way if FID doesn't come quickly enough but you implied it's going to be intentional, which is fraudulent and manipulative and Talga is neither of these things. I bet no one would be happier than Mark to finally get the show rolling. So please stop with the conspiracy crap or state clearly what you mean instead of *whisper whisper* implications "you know what I mean" *wink wink*.

But my statement here remains, as it is still true.

FID is not a piece of magic that will make the share price go up

it's in Talga's interests to put a FID off as long as possible, because to make a FID they need to show an economical project and they will need to put down a new Tal-C price in black and white, something which they haven't done for 4 years. Does anyone not wonder why?

the market is pricing this stock accordingly. the dam not bursting like promised has shattered all confidence. more dams keeping getting knocked down but there is no gush. the water must be frozen up with the glacial pace this management team moves at

If Talga were really trying to delay FID as long as possible, they wouldn’t have opted to halve the maximum allowed timeframe for financial close from 4 years to just 2 during the Innovation Fund application process, which was done in order to show project maturity.

Hello Gvan,
What would your guess be regarding the next steps ? I'm pretty relaxed now and I would be amazed if we didn't see the money all come together in the next few weeks for the build.

The next steps will hopefully be offtakes and strategic parties stepping in, but there are always loose ends to tie up. See the recent post by Cosors about having to re-sign the purchase agreement for the Hertson property after the two years expired, thanks to NIMBY obstruction. This would be crucial for the Innovation Fund grant, which is of course tied to FID.

Unlike the permitting situation, which provided some timeline statistics of prior cases, predicting when FID occurs is more difficult. With nothing to go on other than the last webinar, I think it would be reasonable to expect it to occur within the next 3 to 4 months.

I would be less confident if Talga had not already signed the Nyobolt agreement. This showed that Talnode-C is indeed a higher quality anode and that we can expect to charge a premium, making the project bankable, even in a time of graphite lows.

Just some information from the Swedish mining gazette.

The USA is buying up massive amounts of copper worldwide and drastically increasing its stocks.

ASX Resolute Mining has found a 100 tonne world class gold deposit in Africa.

In Finland, around 1000 people are busy completing Keliber's lithium mine, enrichment and production plant. It is due to go into production in stages from this autumn.

At the G7 summit, a strategy was provisionally agreed to ‘protect access to critical minerals and strengthen their economies’. It is also about anticipating shortages of critical minerals, coordinating measures against deliberate market disruptions and ‘diversifying mining, processing, manufacturing and recycling’.

And India is stopping its exports of neodymium for magnets, which is likely to cause additional global shortages.

I add
Selective approach to science
Only the science that fits into their picture is relevant and the other does not exist.

Ignorant-Tolerance is another matter.
How nice to have this bar!

Cheers!
