Den 20 juni fattade EU-kommissionen beslut om nya invasiva arter. Bland annat kommer lövplattmasken (Obama nungara) och parkslide samt jätte- och hybridslide läggas till i listan över invasiva arter som samtliga EU-länder måste bekämpa.

"Lightning struck Mikael twice - on the same day
About 5-10 people are struck by lightning every year. M. P. in Boden was struck by two lightning bolts in one afternoon. The probability? The chance of winning a big lottery prize is 10,000 times greater.
On Friday, a severe thunderstorm broke out along the Norrbotten coast and in parts of the interior.
M. P. was at Börstingens camping outside Boden and it was when he was going to fold down his awning on the caravan that it thundered - something that P4 Norrbotten reported first.
- "It just flashed from my hands and I was kind of stuck. Then it let go and I turned round and then it hit again, says M. P. to SVT.
Mikael managed to escape without serious injuries, but still suffers from some discomfort after being struck by lightning twice in the same day."
